During a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Broncos clinched a close win over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and kicker Wil Lutz provided the game-winning decisive three-pointer to secure the hard-fought win.

Dominant Performance Wins Game

Even with registering nine sacks against Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the third quarter. Remarkably, the Jets managed just 82 offensive yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, engineered a critical 12-play, 65-yard drive that ended with Lutz's short field goal with just over five minutes left.

Historic Difficulties for Jets Offense

Despite their dismal performance, the Jets still had the ball with a opportunity to score a possible winning score. However Fields was sacked on fourth down from the Denver 44 when head coach Aaron Glenn opted to attempt the conversion rather than sending out specialist Nick Folk for a difficult field-goal attempt.
